Kor Kwang Beach

Koh Lanta Island is home to 9 magnificent beaches from north to the south. Located in the Northern part of Koh Lanta, Kor Kwang meaning deer neck is the home of the magnificent beach line Kor Kwang Beach which resembles the sway of a deer’s neck. At the end of the cape there are small islands which the visitors can take a walk if the tide is low. This beach line boasts of a long stretch line filled with white sands and crystal clear blue water and is the ideal location to see breath taking views of the sun set.

This is one of the most popular family beaches on Koh Lanta where water sports lovers will be guaranteed of maximum entertainment and adventure. The calm and shallow water make it especially safe for children. This beach line is populated by sea gypsies, and features great coral reefs, caves and dive sights that provide the ability to see the occasional whale. This diverse marine life makes this beach area one of the best places for snorkeling and diving. Kor Kwang Beach is less crowded during most parts of the year and can be used as a field to play football or beach volleyball when tide goes low.
